Who looks after your data

Contacting us

When you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent through Resend to hello@baby.photo so we can respond. An unsent message is kept only in the current page and is not saved as a persistent browser draft. Contact messages are not stored in the website’s order database.

Making your keepsake

We use your account email to identify your orders, your selected scans to review and create the keepsake, and a delivery address for physical orders. Digital-only orders do not require a shipping address. Payments are not currently available.

Ultrasound scans can contain health information. We ask for explicit consent to process that information for your order. Only submit files you are entitled to share, and remove unnecessary clinic labels. We keep scan consent, order fulfilment and required financial records separate.

Your files are not intended for advertising, public galleries or model training. Any such use would require a separate choice.

A limited time with us

Unpaid drafts and their uploaded files are scheduled for deletion seven days after the draft is created. Production files are kept while a paid order is being fulfilled. For physical orders, the support period ends 30 days after confirmed delivery. For digital-only orders, it ends 30 days after the finished model is released, even if you have not downloaded it. Keep your own originals and a downloaded copy of your finished digital keepsake.

An unresolved issue can extend the period by a documented, limited interval. Access to order files stops at expiry. Scheduled cleanup removes files from the private storage and records completion; failed cleanups can be retried.

Working copies in reconstruction tools, operator workstations, printer storage and other production locations are handled through a coordinated deletion procedure. The operator must remove those copies and acknowledge completion separately from the website’s storage cleanup.

Your account and minimal order history are separate from production files. Financial records that must be retained are kept separately under the applicable record-retention requirements. Source scans are not included in the financial archive.

Private by design

The service uses HTTPS for file transfer. Private file storage is provisioned in Cloudflare R2 under EU jurisdiction; account, order and consent records use Cloudflare D1 under EU jurisdiction. Access to order files is restricted to the account holder and authorised operators. A finished digital download also requires the digital file to be included in the order, confirmed payment and a released model.

You can sign in with Google or an email link sent through Resend. The account page shows available sign-in methods. Those providers handle the information needed for authentication or email delivery; scan files are stored separately in private file storage. EU storage does not mean every part of these services processes data exclusively in the EU.

New files selected in the order form are held in the current browser tab until uploaded. We do not create persistent browser drafts of those scans. The form offers a separate delete action for drafts left by the earlier prototype. Keep your original scans before removing a draft.

Restricted database backups have a separate expiry window, so deletion from the live database may not immediately remove backup copies. Restoring a backup requires applying deletion records before the restored data returns to active use.

Your choices

Contact hello@baby.photo to ask for access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data, or to withdraw consent for future processing of your scans. Withdrawal may prevent us from completing the keepsake. Records that must be retained by law are handled separately. You may lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority, ÚOOÚ.
